Congratulations!
You have been selected by the Independent Office Products and Furniture Dealers Association’s (IOPFDA) Educational Foundation’s Board of Trustees as an award recipient of the 2019 scholarship program.
As mentioned in your congratulatory letter, you will need to complete a few more steps to accept your scholarship. Be sure to have the items, listed below, available before beginning the form.
- Personal contact information
- Address of the registrar at the college where you will be registered for the 2019 - 2020 school year
- A clear and suitable photograph of yourself
- A 200-word bio
Deadline to complete these items is 5:00 pm EDT, Thursday, June 20, 2019. Scholarship checks will not be mailed out until all of your information has been submitted.
Industry Photo
IOPFDA requests that all scholarship winners have a photo taken with the industry representative who provided a letter of reference on the scholarship applicant’s behalf. Please make sure it is with the industry representative, not the educational reference. IOPFDA would like to use this photo in future publications to promote the annual scholarship program.
Please go to the industry representative’s office or meet and have your photo taken with them. Please upload your Industry Photo by Friday, June 28, 2019.
Recommendations:
- Business casual clothing or better.
- The photo can be taken outdoors or indoors.
- If the photo is taken outdoors, no sunglasses.
- Have the photo taken in a location that showcases the company logo.
- The logo can be in the background of the photo in a business setting.
- Take the photo with the industry representative presenting a congratulatory handshake to the scholarship applicant.
- Use a high-res camera or a smart phone.
