	Return to Member Services Scholarship Program        NOPA recognizes the challenges that escalating costs in education present to our members, which is why it started the Association Scholarship Fund over 40 years ago. Emphasizing the value of higher learning, the Association Scholarship Fund is supported entirely through member contributions.   The fund was started in 1962 by Jennie Zachs with her initial donation of $5000. Since then, it has grown to more than $2 million, awarding more than 20 new scholarships each year.   Acceptance of applications for 2010 is closed, scholarship recipients for 2010 will be announced shortly.  The 2011 application is now available.
